Please review the following Terms & Conditions before placing your order. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Payment & Booking

A deposit is required to secure your order and pickup date. Your order is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received, and availability is subject to change until payment is submitted.

Deposits are non-refundable after 24 hours of payment, as outlined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

The remaining balance is due no later than the scheduled pickup date, unless otherwise stated on your invoice.

Custom supplies, cutters, packaging, or other materials may be ordered specifically for your order once your deposit is received.

 

Custom Order Minimum

Custom decorated cookie orders require a minimum order of 2 dozen cookies.

Need fewer? Smaller orders may be available and will be priced individually per cookie. You can also keep an eye on our seasonal pre-sales and special offerings for smaller quantities.

 

Rush Orders

We recommend placing custom orders at least 14 days in advance.

We will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when our schedule allows. Orders placed less than 14 days before the requested pickup date may be subject to a rush fee.

Acceptance of rush orders is based on availability.

 

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Goodies by Max is unable to accommodate orders for customers with food allergies or orders requiring an allergen-free environment.

Our kitchen handles common food allergens, including wheat, eggs, milk, and nuts. Cross-contact may occur, and we cannot guarantee that any product is free from a particular allergen.

Please contact us before ordering if you have questions regarding ingredients or dietary restrictions.

 

Designs & Inspiration Photos

We love inspiration photos! Reference images, including AI-generated images, may be used as inspiration to communicate your preferred style, colors, theme, and overall design.

Because every cookie is individually handcrafted, your finished cookies may vary from reference or inspiration images. AI-generated designs in particular may contain details, textures, colors, or effects that cannot be exactly replicated with royal icing.

We also will not create exact replicas of another cookie artist's work, but we are happy to use reference images as inspiration while creating a design in our own style.

We reserve the right to make reasonable creative adjustments based on cookie shape, size, available materials, decorating techniques, and our artistic style.

 

Colors, Sizes & Photos

Colors may appear differently in photographs and on computer or phone screens due to lighting and display settings. Actual icing colors may vary slightly from digital images, samples, or inspiration photos.

Photos may also not accurately represent the actual size of a cookie. Please confirm cookie dimensions with us if size is important to your order.

 

Changes to Your Order

Changes to quantities, designs, colors, personalization, packaging, or other order details should be requested at least 14 days before your scheduled pickup date.

Changes requested within 14 days of pickup are not guaranteed and may be subject to an additional fee.

Significant changes to the original order may require an updated invoice.

 

Pickup

Your pickup date and approximate pickup time will be arranged when your order is confirmed.

If you need to change your pickup time, please contact us as early as possible, preferably at least one day before your scheduled pickup.

Please inspect your order at pickup to make sure everything is correct.

 

Delivery

Delivery is available upon request and is typically arranged through a third-party courier service for an additional fee.

Delivery availability and fees may vary depending on the delivery location, order size, date, and courier availability.

Once an order has been transferred to the courier, Goodies by Max cannot guarantee delivery times and is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage that occurs during third-party transportation.

 

Once Your Order Is Picked Up

Once your order has been picked up and accepted, responsibility for the cookies transfers to the customer.

Please follow the storage and handling instructions provided with your order. Goodies by Max cannot be responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage, heat, humidity, or other conditions after pickup.

If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup and provide photos of the cookies and packaging so we can evaluate the issue.

When appropriate, Goodies by Max may offer a replacement, partial credit, or future-order credit at our discretion.

 

Missed Pickups

Because our cookies are made fresh specifically for your order, please make every effort to pick them up at the agreed-upon time.

If you are unable to make your scheduled pickup, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange another pickup time.

Orders that are not picked up and for which we receive no communication within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be considered abandoned and may be donated or disposed of. Payments for abandoned orders are non-refundable.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Because every order is custom-made and we may begin purchasing supplies or preparing your order shortly after booking, deposits become non-refundable 24 hours after payment is received.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the initial payment may be eligible for a refund.

After that period, deposits are non-refundable.

 

Depending on the timing of the cancellation, payments made beyond the deposit and the amount of work already completed, Goodies by Max may offer a partial refund or credit toward a future order at our discretion.

 

Pricing

Prices are subject to change based on ingredient costs, materials, packaging, design complexity, and other business expenses.

Once your order has been confirmed and your deposit has been received, the price shown on your confirmed invoice will be honored unless you request changes to the order.

Previous pricing, quotes, promotions, or pricing from past orders may not apply to future orders.

 

Product Photography & Social Media

We love sharing our work! Goodies by Max may photograph completed orders and use those photographs on our website, social media, advertising, portfolio, or other marketing materials.

If your order contains confidential information, an unreleased logo, a surprise announcement, or you simply prefer that your cookies not be photographed or shared, please let us know when placing your order.

 

Food Safety & Cottage Food Disclosure

Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles common food allergens and is not subject to the same public health inspection requirements as a commercial food establishment.

Our kitchen is not nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free, and cross-contact with allergens may occur.

Ingredient and allergen information will be provided as required by applicable Arizona cottage food regulations.

 

Consumption & Food Safety

As with any food product, consumption may involve risks including allergic reactions, choking, or foodborne illness.

Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information and determining whether our products are appropriate for themselves and their guests.

 

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a deposit or other payment to Goodies by Max, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
